RTK station for agricultural drones
The RTK station for agricultural drones brings significant improvements to precision agriculture. Thanks to RTK/GNSS positioning mode and advanced technology, this station provides high accuracy and reliable data for successful farming operations.
Using RTK/GNSS technology and BDS B1/B2, GPS L1/L2, GLONASS L1/L2, QZSS L1/L2 and SBAS L1 frequency bands, the RTK station enables agricultural drones to achieve horizontal and vertical accuracy. This gives an accuracy of ±10cm when using the RTK network. This high accuracy is essential for precise and efficient agricultural operations.
In the absence of the RTK network, flight accuracy can be ±60cm both horizontally and vertically. The positioning accuracy of operations remains high, with reliable and secure data. There is also no error accumulation and within a perimeter of about 3 kilometres from the base station, centimetre-level accuracy can be achieved.
One of the notable advantages of RTK technology is its ability to reduce the limitations of agricultural drone take-off and landing sites. By using RTK, these drones can operate with greater precision in smaller areas, increasing the efficiency and flexibility of agricultural operations.
Compared to traditional agricultural drones, which require three operators, including pilot, safety officer and ground crew, agricultural drones using RTK technology are more efficient in terms of precision and accuracy.
